TL*- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 YAMAHA R6 WITH AN ODOMETER READING OF 1,000 MILES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE GOING AROUND A CURVE AT 40 MPH AND SHIFTING INTO THIRD GEAR THE THROTTLE FROZE IN AND OPEN POSITION AND THE MOTORCYCLE STARTED TO RAISE UP. THE CONTACT PUSHED THE MOTORCYCLE TO THE SIDE, CRASHED, AND THE MOTORCYCLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED THE RECALL 06V442000 WHICH WAS THE NOTED THE SAME FAILURE AS THE CONTACTS VEHICLE HAD RIGHT BEFORE THE CRASH. MY THROTTLE GOT STUCK OR IT FELT AS IT DID , I WASN'T ABLE TO STOP I HELD THE BRAKES BUT COULDN'T STOP , AFTER THAT I STARTED GETTING SCARED I HIT THE KILL SWITCH NOTHING THE BIKE STAYED ON ,ALL I THOUGHT WAS JUMPING OFF SO I DID , IT REALLY SCARED ME , WHEN I JUMPED I GOT A KNEE INJURY. *NM
