TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 YAMAHA XV1900. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO START THE MOTORCYCLE. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TOWED TO RIDENOW POWERSPORTS ON CRAIG (4120 E CRAIG RD, NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV 89030, [phone removed]) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NEEDING THE BATTERY TO BE RECHARGED. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO RIDENOW POWERSPORTS ON CRAIG AND WAS THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT MOTORCYCLE NEEDED TO BE PLUGGED INTO A TONER. Engine unexpectedly sputtered and quit while traveling on a narrow two-lane road with no place to pull off to the side. Engaged emergency flashers to alert oncoming traffic. The bike would not restart. Was able to get a tow after a couple of hours. Mileage on the motorcycle was 19,354 miles. 1. Starter was inspected by dealer and found magnets in starter had come loose from the housing and disintegrated. Starter was rendered inoperable. 2.
