Owner report 10025773 ยท 2003-07-09 (July 9, 2003)

SERIOUS CONCERNS ABOUT TRANSMISSIONS LOCKUPS. FROM THE DATA THAT I HAVE FOUND, APPARENTLY THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH A CIRCLIP BREAKING CAUSING THE TRANSMISSION TO LOCK UP. WHEN THIS OCCURS, LOSS OF CONTROL IS ALMOST CERTAIN. THERE APPEARS TO BE A PROBLEM WITHIN A CERTAIN PRODUCTION DATE AND SERIAL NUMBER. MY MOTORCYCLE FALLS INTO THIS RANGE. NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS HAVE OCCURRED DUE TO THIS PROBLEM.*AK
