Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The roof rack hardware may not have been properly tightened, allowing the rack to detach from the roof.

Consequence: A detached roof rack can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten roof rack hardware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 9, 2024. Owners may call Forest River Customer Service at 269-467-6604. Forest River's number for this recall is 121-1844.

24V722000 · Exterior Lighting

Reported: 2024-09-27 (September 27, 2024) · Model years: 2024, 2025

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The side marker lights may not reflect light as intended, which can make it difficult for other drivers to see the trailer. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence: Insufficiently reflective side marker lights can reduce the trailer's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install reflector stickers to the lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 22, 2024. Owners may call Forest River Customer Service at 269-467-6604. Forest River's number for this recall is 121-1845.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The fresh water holding tank support bracket may be the incorrect gauge and may break.

Consequence: A broken bracket can cause the tank to detach, increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the support bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-269-467-8283. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1870.

Forest River, Inc (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Clipper and Viking travel trailers. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. The bottle bracket welds may break and cause the propane tank to detach from the vehicle.

Consequence: A detached propane tank may become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the bottle bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 2, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-269-467-8283. Forest River's number for this recall is 121-1874.
