Owner report 10500640 · 2013-02-27 (February 27, 2013)
THERE IS A SEVERE PROBLEM WITH THE REAR BRAKES ON ALL VICTORY VISION MOTORCYCLES FROM MODEL YEAR 2008 TO 2010 THAT ARE NOT EQUIPPED WITH ABS. AIR SOMEHOW GETS INTO THE SYSTEM CAUSING THE REAR BRAKES TO BECOME COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WARNING. THERE HAVE BE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FROM MANY PEOPLE ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND VICTORY'S STANCE REMAINS THAT SIMPLY BLEEDING THE BRAKES IS THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. THIS IS NOTHING MORE THAN A TEMPORARY SOLUTION AND DOES NOT FIX THE DESIGN FLAW. SOONER OR LATER THIS PROBLEM IS GOING TO GET PEO…

Owner report 10541967 · 2013-09-04 (September 4, 2013)
DURING A RIDE IN THE MOUNTAINS, I STARTED TO HEAR A LOUD NOISE FROM THE FRONT END OF MY MOTORCYCLE. I PULLED OFF THE ROAD TO CHECK AND FOUND THAT THE REAR PORTION OF MY FRONT FENDER HAD BROKEN AWAY FROM ITS FORK MOUNTS AND WAS RUBBING AGAINST THE WHEEL. WITHOUT THE FORK MOUNTS, THE FENDER IS LOOSE ENOUGH TO BOUNCE UP INTO THE MOTORCYCLE FAIRING AND EFFECT THE STEERING. I BELIEVE THE SOUND I WAS HEARING WAS THE FENDER HITTING THE FAIRING WHENEVER I TURNED. SINCE THE FENDER PORTION WAS NOW ONLY BEING HELD ON BY TWO 'PUSH FASTENERS' TO THE FRONT …

Owner report 11611010 · 2024-08-26 (August 26, 2024)
Mid-year of 2011, Polaris Industries advertised a change in their gearing ratios in the 6-speed transmission on their Victory motorcycle lineup. This change was permanent and carried on until Polaris ceased production of the Victory line of motorcycles in 2017. With this change, other parts were changed and resulted in what has been commonly reported as a "C-Clip failure" in the transmission. Various motorcycles of this era have been affected and is well documented/reported on several social media chat forums and groups. We own a 2012 Victo…
