Owner report 10096542 · 2004-10-28 (October 28, 2004)
2004 VICTORY KINGPIN MOTORCYCLE, REAR BRAKES AFTER ONLY 2,500 MILES ARE DOWN TO THE METAL. DEALER SAYS THIS IS NORMAL AND VICTORY (POLARIS) WILL NOT COVER UNDER THIS WARRANTY. DOES NOT HAS A FIX TO PREVENT THESE BRIMBO BRAKES FROM WARRING OUT SO QUICKLY. IF AN OWNER OF ONE OF THESE BIKES IS NOT AWARE OF HOW FAST THESE BRAKES WARE OUT THEY COULD HAVE A FATAL ACCIDENT. *AK

2009 POLARIS/VICTORY KINGPIN LOW: PURCHASED NEW 11MAY2010 WITH 4 MILES. ON 14MAY2010 THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE ENGINE STOPPED BRIEFLY CAUSING THE MOTORCYCLE TO BRIEFLY AND QUICKLY SLOW CONSIDERABLY, CAUSING A "LURCHING" FEEL. I THOUGHT IT WAS POSSIBLE LOW ON GAS AND FILLED IT WITH GAS. ON 15MAY2010 IT DID THIS AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES, USUALLY IN EARLY 1ST OR EARLY 2ND GEAR. ON THIS DATE THE ENGINE ALSO BEGAN SURGING AS THE CLUTCH WAS ENGAGED AND THE MOTORCYCLE CAME TO A STOP. IT WOULD SURGE APPROXIMATELY 10 TIMES AS IT CAME TO AN IDL…

ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS THE CLUTCH AND CLUTCH ASSEMBLY OF MY 2007 VICTORY KINGPIN HAS BROKEN. THE FIRST INCIDENT IN JULY 2009 THE MOTORCYCLE WAS STATIONARY THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALERSHIP UNDER WARRENTY DUE TO A BROKEN ADJUSTER. THE SECOND INCIDENT IN MAY 2011 THE MOTORCYCLE WAS IN MOTION AND THE CLUTCH CABLE BROKE WHERE IT CONNECTS AT THE HANDLEBAR. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS THEN UNABLE TO BE OPERATED, HAD TO BE TOWED AND CLUTCH CABLE HAD TO BE REPLACED BY THE DEALERSHIP AT MY COST. THE THIRD OCCATION OCCURRED IN APRIL 2016…
