MY WIFE AND I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2019 WINNEBAGO MINNIE PLUS IN SALEM, OR. WE WERE HAVING BRAKE ISSUES WITHIN A WEEK OF TAKING DELIVERY. WE RETURNED TO THE DEALER TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. THE ISSUE WAS SAID TO HAVE BEEN CORRECTED BY THE DEALER (ROBERSON RV). WE HAVE SINCE HAD A FAILURE WITH THE RIGHT REAR AXLE BRAKE AND A MINOR ISSUE WITH THE LEFT FRONT FWD AXLE BRAKE. THE REPAIR FACILITY WE TOOK THE RV FOR INSPECTION/REPAIR INFORMED ME IT APPEARS THAT THE REAR AXEL BRAKES WERE INTENTIONALLY DISCONNECTED. WE HAVE TRAVELED OVER 3000 MILES THE …

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F250 TRAILERED TO A 2019 WINNEBAGO MINNIE WINNIE RV. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DOING ROUTINE CHECK OF THE SUBFRAME OF THE RV, THE CONTACT BECAME AWARE THAT THE MIDDLE SUBFRAME WAS FRACTURED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED OR MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE RV WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FRAME HAS DEVELOPED CRACKS EXTENDING FROM WHERE THE HUCK BOLTS FASTEN THE CROSS MEMBER TO THE FRAME RAILS IN THE SECTION THAT RESIDES BETWEEN THE TANDEM AXLES. THIS HAS BEEN FOUND ON THE FRAMES OF SEVERAL OWNERS AND IS BELIEVED TO BE CAUSED BY STRESS APPLIED TO THE FRAME WHEN TURNING. CRACKS ARE ON BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDES.*DT*JB*DT*JB

20V441000 · Structure:Emergency:Escape/Egress/Exit
Reported: 2020-07-29 (July 29, 2020)
Winnebago Towable (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Micro Minnie 5 travel trailers. An emergency exit window was not installed in the bedroom.
Consequence: If occupants do not have access to the entry door, there is no alternate means of escape provided which may result in serious injury or death.
Remedy: Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will replace the right side bedroom window with an escape window, free of charge. The recall began August 17, 2020. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5280 extension 5220.
