The contact owns a 2022 Winnebago Inspire built on a 2022 Freightliner XC-S Chassis. The contact stated that while the RV was parked and turned off, the rear brake lights remained illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated while later reversing into a parking space, the message "Shift Inhibitor" was displayed, and the RV failed to shift into gear. The contact stated that the RV was undrivable. The local dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 4,016. The VIN …

Power wheelchair door only works sporadically. It has been in the shop multiple times and they can’t seem to fix it. I have been locked in multiple times. Winnebago is aware that there is a manufacturing flaw but can’t seem to remedy it.

22V500000 · Structure:Body:Step/Ladder | Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer

Reported: 2022-07-12 (July 12, 2022)

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Inspire motorhomes. The support underneath the step well cover may be insufficient.

Consequence: An insufficient support underneath the step well cover can allow the step to collapse when stepped on, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replaced the 0.75 inch support surface to 1.50 inches, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 26, 2022. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is Recall 167.

23V365000 · Seat Belts:Critical Fasteners

Reported: 2023-05-24 (May 24, 2023)

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Winnebago Shell, 2021-2023 Winnebago Inspire, 2022-2023 Winnebago Vista, Adventurer, Forza, Journey and Itasca Sunstar motorhomes. The seat belt attachment may have been improperly tightened. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Consequence: A loose seat belt attachment may not properly restrain the occupant in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the seat belt attachment fasteners, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 175.

24V295000 · Equipment:Electrical | Equipment:Appliance:Oven/Stove/Cooktop

Reported: 2024-04-26 (April 26, 2024)

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Sunstar, Vista, 2022-2023 Cambria, Inspire, 2023 Forza, 2024 Minnie Winnie, Spirit, 2024-2025 Porto and Vita motorhomes. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Consequence: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the cooktop control panel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 5, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 184.
