The contact owned a 2024 Volvo S90 MHEV. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 45 MPH with a rear seat passenger, there was smoke coming from the engine compartment. The contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road, and the vehicle immediately caught on fire. The contact and the passenger exited the vehicle safely and notified the fire department.
