THE ORIGINAL FACTORY INSTALLATION OF VEHICLE HAD PLASTIC CLIPS HOLDING THE INTERIOR TAILGATE DOOR ASSEMBLY IN PLACE, WITH RAISING AND LOWERING THE REAR TAILGATE THE INTERIOR ASSEMBLY BREAKS THE PLASTIC CLIPS AND LOOSENS WHICH DISLODGES THE CENTER BRAKE TAIL LIGHT, THE MAUFACTURER RECOGNIZED THE PROBLEM AND REPLACED THE PLASTIC CLIPS WITH A LARGER MORE STURDIER CLIP ARRANGEMENT. SOME OF THE JACKS SUPPLIED WITH THE VEHICLES DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY LOAD CAPACITY.
Consequence: A RAISED VEHICLE CAN FALL OFF THE JACK INCREASING THE LIKELIHOOD FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE SUSPECT JACKS WITH A JACK MEETING THE LOAD REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE CARS.

THE THREADED INSERT WHICH ATTACHES THE SAFETY BELT CATCH TO THE FRONT SEAT WAS INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED.
Consequence: THIS CONDITION CAN REDUCE RESTRAINING CAPABILITY OFTHE SAFETY BELT IN SEVERE COLLISIONS.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE THREADED INSERT IN THE AFFECTED FRONT SEATS.
