(1) DRIVING NORMALLY DOWN THE ROAD, SUDDENLY (2) THE CAR HAD NO POWER (COULD NOT ACCELERATE, IT FELT LIKE THE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES WERE GONE), BUT THE ENGINE APPEARED TO BE RUNNING (I COULD STEP ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND CHANGE THE ENGINE RPMS), BUT DIDN'T GENERATE ANY POWER (IMPROPER AIR/FUEL RATIO?). ONCE I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR, THE ENGINE STALLED. (3) I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. WIPER LOOSES CONTACT WITH WINDSHIELD BETWEEN 1 AND 11 OCLOCK POSITION. THIS OCCURS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AND RESULTS IN INEFFECTIVE CLEARING OF RAIN. I HAD HEARD ON A WEB SITE THAT THE ARMS WERE MIS-CAST. THE WIPER SPRINGS ARE STRONG AND GIVE GOOD TENTION BUT BOTTOM OUT PREVENTING CONTACT WITH THE WINSHIELD BECAUSE THE WIPER ARM PORTION NEAR WHERE IT BOLTS TO THE MOTOR MUST FLARE OUT TO FAR. SOME OF THE JACKS SUPPLIED WITH THE VEHICLES DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY LOAD CAPACITY.
Consequence: A RAISED VEHICLE CAN FALL OFF THE JACK INCREASING THE LIKELIHOOD FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE SUSPECT JACKS WITH A JACK MEETING THE LOAD REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE CARS.

THE THREADED INSERT WHICH ATTACHES THE SAFETY BELT CATCH TO THE FRONT SEAT WAS INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED.
Consequence: THIS CONDITION CAN REDUCE RESTRAINING CAPABILITY OFTHE SAFETY BELT IN SEVERE COLLISIONS.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE THREADED INSERT IN THE AFFECTED FRONT SEATS.
