The contact stated that after several minutes the brakes released. The dealer was contacted and stated that the feature operated as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed that the feature operated as designed. The failure was 75. The VIN was not available.

The forward collision system does not work. When the system is activated it does not work. I bought the car new in April 2022.I activate the system all the time while driving. To this day the system has never warned me [NO DASH LIGHT OR AUDIBLE SOUND WARNING ME TO BRAKE]

Electronic Power Control (EPC) issue: The car unit bogs down the acceleration and limits the RPMs, making it dangerous to drive on high way or even local road. The issue pops up spontaneously but went away after car was OFF for hour and restarted. Engine runs ruff and shacks along with laud banging sounds from under car. Suspect sensors, other messages seem to be out of place, such as "turn lights on" in morning when driving directly into sun light or the large red accident display with nothing around at all, different locations. The contact owns a 2022 Volkswagen Jetta. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, a crack in the sunroof glass was discovered. After opening the driver’s side door, the sunroof glass shattered causing shards of glass to fall into the cabin of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who informed the contact that the sunroof glass had shattered due to an object striking the vehicle. The left rear brake system has a defect that has resulted in the left rear inner brake pad to wear through at an accelerated rate resulting in brake failure with no friction material left. The other three brake pads in the rear have plenty of material. Excessive sounds, a sensation of dragging in the left rear part of the car, noises from the left rear of the car after releasing the brakes at approximately 10k miles, and eventually metal-on-metal grinding noises starting around 20k miles were reported multiple times to the servicing dealership…

3/3/23 My son started out onto the road outside our home. The car would not accelerate past 20 mph. The engine light flashed. My son turned around and brought the car back home. I brought the car in for service. The engine light was off and the car was able to accelerate on the way to the dealer. The dealer could not reproduce the problem. 5 codes were noted. 4/18/23. My son started home from school. The car again would not accelerate past 20 mph. The engine light flashed. The problem resolved and within a couple of minutes repeated.…

The contact owns a 2022 Volkswagen Jetta. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, a knocking sound was coming from the engine compartment, and the vehicle started shaking and stalled. The contact stated that the check engine and electronic power control (EPC) warning lights were illuminated. The contact pulled the vehicle over to the shoulder of the highway where the vehicle remained. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired or diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 4,500.

Reported: 2022-07-20 (July 20, 2022)
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2021 Golf GTI, Jetta GLI, Jetta NF, Arteon FL, Tiguan LWB, 2022 Taos, Jetta PA, Tiguan PA, 2021-2022 Atlas Cross Sport, and Atlas FL vehicles. The manufacturing process of the eMMC memory module in the infotainment system may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence: A rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the infotainment software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 16, 2022. Owners may contact Volkswagen's customer service at 1-800-893-5298. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 91DV.
