The contact owned a 2018 VMI Compass trailer that hitched onto a 2017 Ford F-350. The contact stated while driving at approximately 60 MPH, the safety trailer line and trailer hitch had failed causing the trailer to tilt and fall onto its driver-side on the opposite side of the road. In addition, the failure caused the truck to swerve when the Channel bracket (Part Number:505) failed to maintain the trailer attached to the vehicle. The contact stated there was no oncoming traffic therefore a collision was avoided. No injuries were sustained. A …
