THE VEHICLE WAS RECALLED ON AUGUST 18, 2005 FOR A POSSIBLE ROOF SYSTEM FAILURE THAT COULD CAUSE THE ROOF TO COLLAPSE (RECALL ID #05V364000) AND I WAS TOLD BY THE MANUFACTURER NOT TO USE IT. I RETURNED IT TO THE DEALER ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2005 FOR REPAIRS AND IT HAS BEEN THERE SINCE, UNREPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER NOW REFUSES TO SPEAK TO ME, SAYING I WILL BE CONTACTED BY SOMEONE FROM "CORPORATE. *JB

I HAVE RECENTLY DISCOVERED THERE WAS A RECALL I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF ON THE LIFT SYSTEM OF THIS TRAILER. IT IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED HERE UNDER NUMBER 05V364000 . HOWEVER VIKING GIVES A STORY ABOUT WHO USED TO OWN THE COMPANY AND IS NOW OUT OF BUSINESS ETC, SO NOW I'D HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS MYSELF IF I WANT THE DANGEROUS CONDITION REMEDIED.
