SEVERE ENGINE COOLANT LEAK, OVERHEATING, AND EMERGENCY STOPPING TO PREVENT ENGINE SEIZURE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, ON A CITY STREET. HAD TO BE WALKED HOME. EVENTUALLY TOWED TO DEALER. THE DEALER INFORMED ME THE VESPA'S ENGINE HAD TO BE REMOVED FROM THE FRAME AND DISCOVERED A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. VESPA HAS 3,400 MILES. HAS BEEN MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO MANUAL. BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS THE COOLANT COMPLETELY LEAKED OUT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. WITH NO WARNING. FORTUNATELY DRIVING SLOWLY AT THE TIME.
