I WAS JUST PULLING MY HORSE TRAILER OUT OF MY PARKING SPOT WHEN THE BACK DOOR FLEW OPEN. I STOPPED AND GOT OUT AND FOUND THE DOOR HANDLE LYING IN THE DIRT A FEW FEET BEHIND THE TRAILER. THE WELD WAS COMPROMISED AND THE HANDLE JUST FELL RIGHT OFF. IF MY HORSES HAD BEEN LOADED, THEY MOST CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE FALLEN OUT OF THE TRAILER AND DEPENDING ON LOCATION AND SPEED, IT COULD HAVE CAUSED MULTIPLE FATALITIES. I HAVE NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER. I SINCERELY HOPE THIS WAS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT AND NO OTHER WELDS ON THE TRAILER AR…
