Reported: 2022-11-16 (November 16, 2022)

Shyft Group (Shyft Group) is recalling certain 2022 Utilimaster Aeromaster vehicles. The side-view image may display the wrong side of the vehicle when the turn signal and brake are applied at the same time.

Consequence: An incorrect side-view image may reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Shyft Group will install a jumper harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 2, 2022. Owners may contact Shyft Group customer service at 1-800-582-3454. Shyft Group's number for this recall is 22-18.

25V268000 · Seats:Critical Fasteners

Reported: 2025-04-22 (April 22, 2025)

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Utilimaster Aeromaster Upfit vehicles. The suspension seat mounting fasteners may have been improperly tightened. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."

Consequence: A seat with loose fasteners may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tightened or replace the fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 7, 2025. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft Group's number for this recall is 25-09.

26V265000 · Equipment:Other:Labels

Reported: 2026-04-24 (April 24, 2026)

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2022 Utilimaster Aeromaster vehicles. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

Consequence: Referencing the incorrect GVWR may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Shyft will install new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 7, 2026. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 26-03.
