I BOUGHT A 2020 CARGO MATE ENCLOSED TRAILER CLASE E BRAND NEW OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP IN ALBUQUERQUE NM. J @B TRAILER. BACK IN MARCH 2020 JUST A FEW SHORT MONTHS LATER I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE TRAILER WITH ELECTRICAL . I LOST MY MARKER LIGHTS AND THE TRAILER KEPT BLOWING UP A FUSE IN MY TRUCK'S FUSE BOX. I TOOK THE TRAILER TO MY MECHANIC AND AFTER HAVING IT INSPECTED THE FOUND OUT THAT THE WIRING OF THE TAIL LIGHTS WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY . THE WIRES WERE MELTED AND ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER AND THAT IS WHAT CAUSE THE FUSE TO KEEP BURNI…

Reported: 2020-05-29 (May 29, 2020)
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Haulin, US Cargo, and US Cargo Trail N Sport cargo trailers. The safety chains are insufficient for the trailer's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and may break if the trailer comes unhitched.
Consequence: If the trailer becomes unhitched from the tow-vehicle, the safety chains may break, leading to complete detachment and potential property damage, personal injury or a crash.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and a dealer or service center will replace the safety chains, free of charge. The recall began June 15, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-848-1335. Forest River's number for this recall is 24-1167.
