TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F150. THE VEHICLE WAS HITCHED TO A 2008 TRACKER TRAILERSTAR BOAT TRAILER (NA). WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE DRIVER SIDE WHEEL SUDDENLY DETACHED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE DRIVER SIDE WHEEL, BASE PLATE, WHEEL STUDS AND NUTS WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 (NA) TRACKER MARINE TRAILSTAR. WHILE STATIONARY, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE WEIGHT OF THE BOAT OF THE TRAILER WAS UNDERRATED AND CAUSED SIGNIFICANT PRESSURE ON THE AXLE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT REPLACED ALL OF THE TIRES ON TWO OCCASIONS DUE TO SIGNIFICANT WEAR. GERVASI TRAILER IN MADISON, WISCONSIN WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND CUSTOM REBUILT THE AXLE ON THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 3,000.
