IN SPITE OF STANDING ON THE BRAKE, TRYING TO GET THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL AND PUTTING MY TOE UNDERNEATH THE GAS PEDAL TO SEE IF IT WAS STUCK I WAS IN DANGER OF RUNNING UNDER THE REAR OF A SEMI.
