FIRST DAY AFTER I GOT THE CAR COMING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY FRONT OF THE CAR SCRAPED THE GROUND AND THE FRONT FENDER POPPED OFF THE CAR. THIS FENDER IS PLASTIC AND WAS ATTACHED TO THE CAR WITH PLASTIC FASTENERS. IT IS A FLOWINGLY PUT TOGETHER PIECE OF JUNK. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE SINCE FENDER WOULD COME OFF AND HIT THE CAR BEHIND YOU WHENEVER THIS CAR HITS A SLIGHT BUMP ON A HIGHWAY. THIS IS A DESIGN DEFECT SINCE DURING THE 46 YEARS I LIVED IN THE SAME HOME AND OWNED MANY CARS INCLUDING 2 TOYOTA CAMRY, VW RABBIT, MUSTANG, PORSCHE, MERCURY SABLE , 2…

When I start the car it informs me that my seat belt is not being worn. Even though it is. Then a message appears on my dash that says "Srs airbag system malfunction visit your dealer" My family's safety is at risk if ever involved in a accident with no airbag deployment.

Reported: 2019-03-27 (March 27, 2019)
Gulf States Toyota (GST) is recalling certain 2019 C-HR, 4Runner, Avalon, Avalon Hybrid, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Prius, RAV4, Sequoia, Tacoma, Sienna, Tundra and Yaris vehicles. The text on the load capacity label may become illegible. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Consequence: If the driver cannot read the label, they may unknowingly overload the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: GST will notify owners, and dealers will provide corrected load carrying capacity modification labels, free of charge. The recall began May 24, 2019. Owners may contact GST customer service at 1-800-444-1074. GST's number for this recall is 19R1.

Reported: 2020-04-08 (April 8, 2020)
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2020 Corolla Hatchback vehicles. A rear hatch wire harness connector may have been damaged during assembly, which may cause the back-up lights to fail.
Consequence: If the back-up lights fail, there can be an increased risk of a crash while the vehicle is reversing.
Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear hatch wire harness, free of charge. The recall began June 30, 2020. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-888-270-9371. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 20TB07 and 20TA07.
