WHILE TURNING ONTO THE STREET THE CENTER LINK CONTECTING THE TIRES (THE ROD STEERING LINK, TOYOTA PART #4545139145) SNAPPED IN HALF, LEAVING THE TRUCK COMPLETELY WITHOUT STEERING. I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE CAR BEFORE IT CRASHED.

HEATER BLOWER SWITCH OVER HEATING ON HIGH SPEED AND AN EVENTUAL FAILURE TO WORK. I HAVE REPLACED THE SWITCH 3 TIMES IN FOUR YEARS. EACH TIME THE OLD SWITCH WAS REMOVED IT WAS STARTING A MELT DOWN WHICH COULD LEAD TO AN EVENTUAL VEHICLE FIRE AND OR SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I THREW AWAY THE OLD PARTS BUT WILL HAVE ANOTHER SOON. THE SWITCH IS STARTING TO STICK IN THE HIGH SPEED POSITION,JUST LIKE ALL THE PREVIOUS OCCURRENCES. THE DEALERSHIP JUST SHRUGS AND SAYS HUH,THAT'S STRANGE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1991 TOYOTA 4X4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAT OF THE VEHICLE BENT IN HALF AFTER THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS REAR ENDED IN A CRASH. THERE WERE INJURIES SUSTAINED, BUT MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT REQUIRED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. UPDATE 01/13/16 MA *TR
