There appears to be a number of recalls issued for a known "slider creep" while in motion. NHTSA Recall # 22V-273 TC Recall # 2022-206 Tiffin Recall # TIF-122 We recently purchased a 2023 Allegro Open Road 32SA. We have experienced un-commanded slide creep and land gear retraction. It appears the recall needs to be extended to 2023 models as well.626

The contact owns a 2023 Tiffin Wayfarer RV built on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The contact stated while checking his RV, he noticed that the generator exhaust was too close to the ground. The dealer was not contacted. Additionally, the wheel well liners around the tires were rubbing against the driver’s side rear tires. The manufacturer was contacted; however, the contact had not yet received a response. The failure mileage was 2,360.

Tiffin issued the following recall for some models of their Allegro motorhomes. https://www.usatoday.com/recalls/automotive/NHTSA-22V273000/#:~:text=Tiffin%20Motorhomes%2C%20Inc.,seals%20in%20the%20hydraulic%20cylinders. The model I have is not included in the recall, but I am experiences the same problem, the slide-out extends while parked (or possibly while moving). Vehicle has the slide creep issue, Tiffin and the dealership were aware of this issue on the 34PA model and did not disclose it to me when purchased. Vehicle has been at dealership since November 2023 and is still there with no resolve.

When driving all controls on steering wheel become inactive. You must stop and restart coach. This leaves you without wipers as well as cruise control. Many owners are reporting this issue.

Reported: 2022-07-20 (July 20, 2022)
Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Allegro, Red 340, 2021-2022 Phaeton, Breeze, Allegro Red 360, and 2022 Bay motorhomes. The output line on the LPG tanks may not connect properly to the service valve, which can cause a propane leak.
Consequence: A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the service valves, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 18, 2022. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-124.

Reported: 2022-10-31 (October 31, 2022)
Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Allegro Bay, Breeze, Phaeton, Red 360, 2023 Allegro and Red 340 motorhomes. The fitting on the non-leaching hose connected to the LPG regulator may leak at the swivel joint.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the LPG hose, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 11, 2022. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-127.
