The 2022 RAM Promaster 1500 was converted by Thor Industries to a 2024 Thor Scope 18M in spring 2023 before I purchased it from a dealer in Connecticut. However, information concerning this conversion was not shared with the federal government as the vehicle VIN still lists it as a Promaster 1500. This caused me to miss notification for NHTSA Campaign Number 25V792000 involving a potential travel hazard created by adhesive failure leading to solar panel detachment. 23V285000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:Delivery:Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings
Reported: 2023-04-21 (April 21, 2023)
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Sequence, 2021-2024 Rize, Scope, Tellaro, 2023-2024 Dazzle, and Twist motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the injection pump module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2023. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000294.

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Thor Rize and Scope motorhomes. The solar panel frame may fracture around the mounting bolts, allowing the panel to detach from the vehicle.
Consequence: A detached solar panel can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the lower bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 9, 2024. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000298.

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2024 Twist, 2023-2024 Dazzle, Scope, Rize, Sequence, and 2022-2024 Tellaro recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach.
Consequence: A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will remove and replace the sealant, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 23, 2026. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall RC000337.
