On March 13, 2026, just 8 days after purchasing a new 2026 Thor Rize motor coach built on a RAM ProMaster 1500 chassis, the driver-side rear wheel completely detached from the vehicle while traveling approximately 60 mph on Interstate 15 in California. I observed sparks in my rearview mirror and immediately pulled over due to fear of fire, especially given the presence of a propane system. This was a sudden and dangerous failure with no warning.
