24V579000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer:Plumbing:Potable Water:Storage Tank

Reported: 2024-08-02 (August 2, 2024)

TAXA LLC (TAXA) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Mantis trailers. The gaskets and brackets could fail to stabilize the freshwater tank, allowing the tank to move and detach from the trailer.

Consequence: A detached tank can fall, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the gaskets and brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 20, 2024. Owners may contact TAXA customer service at 713-861-2540.
