TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SUZUKI BANDIT 1250 GSF MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD SPORADICALLY STALL WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS OR WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A TRAFFIC STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES TO ADDRESS THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ADVISED THE FAILURE POTENTIALLY WAS CAUSED BY FUEL TANK OVERFLOW AND THE CHARCOAL CANISTER WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE DID NOT PERSIST HOWEVER; THE FUEL OVERFLOW TANK BEGAN LEAKING FUEL. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AT THE CHARCOAL CANISTER AND REPLACED THE CANISTER, FUE…

I HAVE A 2007 SUZUKI GSF1250S MOTORCYCLE. WHEN YOU FILL THE GAS TANK AND PARK IT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT ON A HOT DAY FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, A PROBLEM OCCURS WHEN THE BIKE IS THEN DRIVEN. AFTER STARTING THE BIKE AND PULLING AWAY IT WILL RUN FINE UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION IS SHIFTED INTO FOURTH GEAR. THEN THE ENGINE WILL LOSE POWER AND SPUTTER AND SOMETIMES COMPLETELY STALL. THERE IS, OF COURSE A SUDDEN LOSS OF SPEED ASSOCIATED WITH THIS CONDITION. AFTER A LITTLE WHILE THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY AS THE ENGINE WARMS UP. THIS PROBLEM IS VERY REPEATABL…
