TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 SUNNYBROOK WEST POINTE TRAILER EQUIPPED WITH TRAIL EXPRESS VOMA TIRES, TIRE SIZE SP225/75/C15, AND THE DOT NUMBER WAS R2HH. I HAVE HAD POOR PERFORMANCE AND LONGEVITY OF TIRES ON MY 30 FOOT LONG 2011 SUNNYBROOK TRAVEL TRAILER. BRANDS I HAVE USED ARE MAXXIS AND CARLISLE, SIZE ST225/75R15 RADIAL TIRES. AT ABOUT 4 YEARS OLD THE MAXXIS TIRES DEVELOPED CRACKS BETWEEN THE TREAD RIBS ON A TRIP IN MARCH. I PUT ON AN UNUSED CARLISLE SPARE AND HAD A HUGE BLOWOUT IN THE TREAD ON I-91 IN VERMONT. IN LOOKING AT WEBSITES AND TRAILER LIFE MAGAZINE, THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT TRAILER TIRES HAVING BLOWOUTS, EVEN WHEN TRAVELLING AT USUALLY 60 MPH I DO, AND WITH PROPER PRESSURE. …
