TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 NOMAD SCOUT 303 TRAVEL TRAILER EQUIPPED WITH A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL NUMBER RM2652. THE CONTACT SMELLED A STRONG ODOR OF AMMONIA AND NOTICED A FATIGUE CRACK IN THE REFRIGERATOR BOILER TUBE. THERE WAS A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 06E076000 (EQUIPMENT: RECREATIONAL VEHICLE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND ADVISED THE OWNER WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EXPENSE OF THE BOILER TUBE REPAIR AND REFUSED TO PERFORM THE RECALL REMEDY UNTIL THE BOILER TUBE WAS REPAIRED.
