DT: THE CONTACT STATES THERE IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH INADEQUATE WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION OF 2004 SS DURALINE, BUMPER PULL STOCK TRAILER. THE WEIGHT CAPACITY SUGGESTED BY THE MANUFACTURER WAS 7,000 LBS. HOWEVER, HE LOADED THE TRAILER WITH TWO HORSES, AND WENT TO A TRUCK SCALE TO WEIGH THE LOAD. THE LOAD WEIGHED AT 6,000 LBS. YET , THE TONGUE OF THE TRAILER LIFTED UPWARD AND PULLED THE BUMPER OF THE TRUCK UPRIGHT. THIS RESULTED IN A LOSS OF TRACTION ON THE REAR WHEELS OF THE VEHICLE PULLING THE TRAILER.
