When pressing the PARK button the vehicle does not always engage the parking brake and instead stays in gear. This can occur if the vehicle is in D or R, and occurs even if there is an audible “click” to register the press of the parking button. In 3000 miles, this has happened at least 6 times. I was driving on the highway at 60mph on a 4 month old 2025 Porsche Macan Ev 4S. I turned off the AC for both driver and passenger. I suddenly started seeing increasingly larger clouds of black smoke coming out of the passenger side of the cabin, and a clear and increasing smell of something burning. I had to roll down my windows because of the smoke. The cabin filled with black smoke. Collision warning system has never worked properly. Now it is not working at all. This was verify by Jeff Leather service director at Reno Porsche on Jan 22. They basically said the because it is old tecknology there is not much they can do about it. They are still selling new 2026 Macan with the same issues. Because most customer do not even reallize the problem. I am a senior customer and I believe that this is an important system for my safety. Being my comprehension why Porsche choose to ignore this problem

Door failed to open from inside. Vehicle was used to travel approximately 6 miles from my home to a store. Upon arrival, the vehicle was placed into park. The door would not open from the inside and I was unable to exit the vehicle. Attempts were made to lock and unlock the door, in addition to pushing on the door with my body while holding the door handle in the open position. I had a red sign on dashboard saying:*chassis failure, park the car carefully.* the car was towed to Porshe. And, was released after one week as safe to drive and dismissed the sign as a glitch. The second day of releasing the car, I had a major accident while parking the car in the garage. The accident resulted in damage to the outer wall and to cabinets. While slowing to a near-complete stop and preparing to shift into Park at a low-speed private property location, the vehicle suddenly and violently accelerated without any driver input. The operator, a [XXX] experienced driver, had no time to react. On XXX, while at a residential complex in [XXX], I got into my 2025 Porsche Cayenne and gently closed the door. Upon closing the door, the rear window spontaneously shattered completely. Yesterday, I viewed photos of a Macan EV that was significantly damaged when the hood flew open while the vehicle was in motion. This caused me to investigate the safety of my vehicle. I have found that there is no secondary "mechanical only" safety latch on the hood of this newly designed car. This means a single button push on the key fob, or inside the vehicle's control panel will rapidly eject the frunk open, with no human physical intervention with a safety latch.
