Last year my 2010 Porsche 911 GT3RS experienced a catastrophic engine failure while on the road. I had to shut off the car in the middle of a 4-lane highway and try to coast to a stop while navigating around much faster traffic risking my safety and the safety of other drivers. There was no warning prior to the failure. Just a sudden bang, followed by shaking and rattling noise.
