Owner report 10208195 · 2007-11-07 (November 7, 2007)
2005 POLARIS 700EFI SPORTSMAN 2 QUADS THEY BOTH HAVE LESS THAN 100HRS OF TIME IN USE. BOTH QUADS HAVE A CRACKED AND BROKEN FRAME. POLARIS SAYS TO BAD ITS OUT OF WARRANTY. I WORK WITH STRUCTURES AT HONEYWELL AEROSPACE THE CRACKS ARE CAUSED BY COLD WELDS AND POOR QUALITY CONTROLS. I HAVE TRIED NUMEROUS WAYS TO CONTACT POLARIS BUT NO ONE WILL LISTEN TO ME. I JUST WONDER HOW MANY OTHERS ARE OUT THERE WITH CRACKED FRAMES? *TR

FUEL GAUGE READS FULL REGARDLESS OF ACTUAL QUANTITY IN THE TANK. FUEL TANK COULD BE EMPTY BUT GAUGE READS FULL. DEALERS/MFG ARE UNRESPONSIVE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. APPEARS TO BE A MUCH LARGER PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL YEAR. *TR
