TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 PALOMINO PALOMINI. AFTER DRIVING OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD, THE CAMPER EXPERIENCED SEVERE VIBRATION WHILE BEING OPERATED AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE CONTACT HAD TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL WITH FORCE TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER (ACCESS RV SALES-SERVICE- RENTAL, 550 S REDWOOD RD, NORTH SALT LAKE, UT 84054) WAS CONTACTED, BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,800. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.

Reported: 2018-01-25 (January 25, 2018)
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2018 Palomino PaloMini recreational trailers. The mounting bracket for the single liquid propane (LP) bottle may break allowing the LP bottle to detach from the vehicle.
Consequence: If the LP bottle detaches from the vehicle, there is an increased risk of injury or crash.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a new LP bottle ring, free of charge. The recall began on March 1, 2018. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-269-432-3246. Forest River's number for this recall is 400-0612.
