OPEN RANGE 5TH WHEEL RV, WIRES FROM CHASSIS TO FRONT AXLE ELECTRIC BRAKES ROUTED OVER SPRINGS, INSULATION PARTIALLY RUBBED OFF DUE TO CONTACT WITH SPRINGS WHILE UNIT WAS IN TRANSIT. ON THIS UNIT, THE WIRES EXIT THE CHASSIS AND THEN GO TO THE LEFT, OR DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE UNIT (AXLES) WHEN ATTACHED TO A TOW VEHICLE. RIGHT REAR TIRE DISINTEGRATED, ON MY 2014 NEW FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER, FOR NO REASON ,OTHER A DEFECT. HAD GOOD HIGHWAYS. LESS THAN 1500 MILES. COULD HAVE CAUSED A MAJOR ACCIDENT. THIS SEAMS TO BE A COMMON, PROBLEM. SOME OF THE SIDE WALLS, REMAINED ON THE DAMAGED RIM. SENT A FORM TO LIONSHEAD SPECIALTY TIRE AND WHEEL. THEY DENIED THE CLAIM. SOME THING NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE THERE IS A MAJOR ACCIDENT. *TR

Open Range R.V. Company (Open Range) is recalling certain 2014 Open Range LF319 fifth wheel recreational trailers manufactured October 23, 2013, through March 10, 2014. The flexible gas line for the kitchen slideout section is too short.
Consequence: When the kitchen area is expanded, the gas line may be pulled excessively resulting in a gas leak, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Open Range will notify owners and dealers will replace the existing gas line with a new longer gas line, free of charge. The recall began in July 2014. Owners may contact Open Range at 1-260-768-7771.
