MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT IN MAY 1999 AT GENERAL MOTORS PLANT IN MORIANE, OHIO. RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET SHOW THIS PROBLEM HAS EXISTED ON THIS AND SIMILAR GM VEHICLES SINCE 1996. I HAVE A 1999 OLDSMOBILE BRAVADA OF WHICH I HAVE JUST FOUND OUT THERE IS A TSB ON ITS TRANSMISSION STUCK IN 3RD GEAR/REVERSE REACTION SHELL BRAKAGE. I HAVE INQUIRED WITH GMC AND A LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND NEITHER TOLD ME OF THIS. MY VEHICLE ONLY HAS 40,000 MILES ON IT AND ACCORDING TO THE TSB, OLDSMOBILE SERVICE PERSONNEL IS REQUIRED TO REPAIR IT FREE OF CHARGE BUT THEY HAVE OFFERED ME A 50/50 SPLIT. I FEEL THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. MY CAR IS STILL CONSIDERED BRAND NEW EVEN THOUGH MY 36,000/3YR WARRANTY IS UP AND WITH THE AMOUNT OF MILES IT HAS ON …
