2020 NISSAN ALTIMA. CONSUMER WRITES IS REGARDS TO DEFECTIVE INTELLIGENT FORWARD COLLISION WARNING FEATURE. THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING THE FORWARD COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM WOULD BEEP THEN SLAM ON THE BRAKES, WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF AN OBSTRUCTION. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE.

The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle and turning off the engine white smoke was suddenly present inside the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated while his wife was driving at 40-45 MPH with his daughter sitting in the front passenger seat, the vehicle crashed into another vehicle that failed to yield at the stop sign.
