DT: THE 2004 NEWMAN SLED BED TRAILER JUST FELL APART ON THE HIGHWAY. CONSUMER HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. HE DID HAVE PHOTOS AVAILABLE OF THE TRAILER. HE WANTED NHTSA TO SEE THE TRAILER FIRST BEFORE HE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS. THE CHASSIS FELL APART. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IT FELL APART. THIS WAS UNDER A LIGHT LOAD. *AK *JB

THE TONGUE ON MY TRAILER BROKE OFF SEPARATING THE TRAILER FROM THE VEHICLE WHILE IN MOTION. THE MANUFACTURER REPLACED THE PARTS AND I HAD THEM WELDED ON PROPERLY. THE MANUFACTURER IS NEWMANS MANUFACTURING, INC LOCATED AT: 207 HIGHWAY 10, PO BOX 24, ROYALTON, MN 56373. *JB
