The contact owns a 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage. The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, there was an abnormal burning odor coming from the brakes with an abnormal grinding sound coming from the brakes. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed, and it was determined that the calipers had seized. The contact stated that the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the brake pads and rotors had been replaced 5-6 times in a year; however, the failure reoccurred. …
