TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 MITSUBISHI FK/FM COMMERCIAL TRUCK (NA). WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS, THE DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER CLEANING AND REGENERATION (DPF) WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE FAILURES OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT IMMEDIATELY PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE DPF REGENERATION FAILED TO AUTOMATICALLY RESPOND AND THE DPF MANUAL REGENERATION SWITCH WAS ENGAGED TO THE "ON" POSITION AND THEN RELEASED.
