Owner report 10509601 · 2013-04-25 (April 25, 2013)

THIS TRUCK KICKS OUT OF CRUISE CONTROL, DOWN SHIFTS, AND SLOWS DOWN BY ABOUT 15 MILES PER HOURS ON INCLINE SUCH AS AN OVERPASS. IT HAS ALMOST BEEN REAR ENDED SEVERAL TIMES BY 18-WHEELERS. IT ALSO HAS KICKED OUT OF GEAR GOING OVER RAIL ROAD TRACKS AT LOW SPEED AND STARTED ROLLING BACKWARDS. IT KICKED OUT OF GEAR COMING TO A TRAFFIC LIGHT AND ROLLED BACKWARDS. WHEN IT WAS TAKEN IN FOR REPAIR WE WERE TOLD THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT. ALL 4 OF MY DRIVERS NOW REFUSE TO DRIVE THE TRUCK AS THEY ARE AFRAID OF GETTING IN AN ACCIDENT. *TR

THE TRUCK HAS REPEATEDLY SHUT DOWN WHILE OPERATING SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING OF OWNERSHIP. IT HAS BEEN OUT-OF-SERVICE FOR MONTHS. IT HAS BEEN RECALLED, BUT THE RECALL REPAIRS HAVE FAILED TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE DOWNTIME HAS BEEN BOTH COSTLY AND DANGEROUS, AS ONE CANNOT PREDICT WHEN THE TRUCK WILL SHUT DOWN. *TR
