MAZDA SENT A NOTICE TO OWNERS OF A SAFETY RECALL REGARDING THE RUSTPROOF COATING ON THE LIFT GATE STAY DAMPERS. THE DEFECT COULD CAUSE CORROSION THAT MAY CAUSE THE LIFT GATE TO DROP SUDDENLY. THIS NOTICE WAS SENT IN OCTOBER 2016 AND THE "REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE" ACCORDING TO THE MAZDA WEBSITE...IT IS NOW MARCH 2017. IN ANOTHER MATTER, MAZDA IS AWARE THAT THERE IS A DEFECT WITH THEIR ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS "READING" A NEW TIRE ON THE VEHICLE. THIS CAUSES THE AIR TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT TO REMAIN ON, LEAVING THE OWNER TO NOT KNOW WHEN THE TIRE(S) A…

THIS IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE -> NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 17V393000 HOWEVER, MAZDA FAILED TO INCLUDE MY VIN NUMBER (ALONG WITH POTENTIALLY THOUSANDS OF OTHER 2014 MAZDA 3'S) AS A PART OF THE RECALLED LIST. BECAUSE OF THIS MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AND MY SAFETY AND WELL BEING, ALONG WITH THOUSANDS OF OTHER, ARE STILL AT RISK.
