1986 MACK TRUCK DUNLOP SP381 TIRE BLEW OUT IN SIX MONTHS. *TS IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE TIRE HAD MANUFACTURING DEFECTS. THE CONSUMER WAS INJURED AND THE DRIVER OF THE SECOND VEHICLE WAS KILLED.

Consequence: FAILURE TO MEET REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 121.
Remedy: RETROFIT ADDITIONAL RESERVOIR CAPACITY TO ENSURE FULL COMPLIANCE WITH FMVSS NO. 121.
