TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 LOAD RITE UTILITY TRAILER. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE AXLE BECAME FRACTURED AND FELL OUT OF THE TRAILER. THE CONTACT PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND PURCHASED ANOTHER AXLE FOR $475. HE STATED THAT THE REPLACEMENT AXLE WAS A LOT HEAVIER THAN THE ORIGINAL AXLE. WHEN HE INFORMED THE MANUFACTURER, HE WAS ASKED HOW LONG DID HE EXPECT THE TRAILER TO LAST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRAILER WAS ONLY USED TWICE AND A TOTAL OF TWELVE TIMES. HE FURTHER STATED THAT THE AXLE SHOULD NOT JUST FALL OUT. THE RECALL REPAIR FOR NHTSA CA…
