1995 LEXUS GS300 4-DOOR SEDAN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN DRIVE GEAR,IGNITION COULD BE TURNED OFF AND KEY REMOVED , RESULTING IN UNSAFE MOVEMENT OF VEHICLE. NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT, CLASHES, INJURIES: DRIVER TURNED IGNITION OFF, REMOVED KEY, LOCKED ALL THE DOORS AND WENT INSIDE A STORE. UPON RETURN THE DRIVER DISCOVERED THE VEHICLE PROTRUDING INTO THE INTERSECTION OF A 4-LANE INTERSECTION. I OWN A 1995 LEXUS GS300 THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ON SUSPENSION FRONT ARM LOWER BALL JOINT FOR EVERY YEAR OF THE FIRST GENERATION GS300 1993-1997. SOMEHOW MY LEXUS GS300 DID NOT MAKE THE RECALL, BECAUSE MY VIN# DID NOT FALL WITHIN THE RANGE. 12/21/2007 WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK MY DRIVERSIDE FRONT WHEEL SEPARATE AT THE BALL JOINT. FORTUNATELY I WAS NOT HURT, AND I WASN'T ON THE HIGHWAY, BUT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A POTENTIAL HAZARDOUS SITUATION. I HAD MY VEHICLE TOWED TO THE NEAREST LEXUS DEALER, BUT I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR …
