Owner report 11510831 · 2023-03-08 (March 8, 2023)
I have purchased a 2022 Evoque as a certified preowned vehicle. Only a few days after the delivery, the car had to be towed back to the dealership due to multiple error messages that caused the vehicle to shift into Neutral on its own, and it did not allow changing gears after that -- it was not possible to move the vehicle. Check engine light also came on. Errors displayed were; "Emergency Braking and Lane Assistance not available", "OK to drive with caution Suspension fault detected". The dealership reported the vehicle was "dead" on arrival,…

Owner report 11697809 · 2025-11-06 (November 6, 2025)
I received notice of safety recall N945 for the 2021–2025 Range Rover Evoque concerning a defect in the passenger airbag that could tear during deployment due to improper folding during assembly. This condition poses a serious safety risk because a torn airbag could fail to protect the occupant or release hot gases that could cause burns. Since the recall was issued several months ago, I have repeatedly contacted my authorized Land Rover dealership to schedule the repair. The dealership stated that they are unable to perform the recall because…

Owner report 11705722 · 2025-12-17 (December 17, 2025)
My vehicle is subject to an active AIRBAG SAFETY RECALL. The recall has been open for 112 days. The authorized Land Rover dealer has confirmed that the manufacturer does not have repair parts available and no repair completion date has been provided. Although the vehicle is technically drivable, it is unsafe due to the airbag defect. The airbag system may fail to deploy properly in a crash, increasing the risk of serious injury or death. The manufacturer has failed to remedy this safety defect within a reasonable time. I am concerned for my …

Owner report 11754122 · 2026-08-01 (August 1, 2026)
The center console infotainment display screen fails to boot on vehicle start-up, remaining entirely blank/black. Because the screen stays black, critical vehicle interfaces, including the mandatory rear-view backup camera system, are fully non-functional, creating a compliance and safety concern. This specific failure mode, a clock-synchronization mismatch causing a blank display at startup and loss of the backup camera, is identical to the defect addressed under Land Rover Safety Recall N972 (NHTSA Campaign #25V016000)

Recall history
2 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
25V454000 · Air Bags:Passenger Side Frontal:Cushion
Reported: 2025-07-07 (July 7, 2025)
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2020–2025 Range Rover Evoque vehicles. The passenger air bag may tear during deployment.
Consequence: A torn air bag may not adequately protect an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Additionally, a torn air bag may allow hot gases to escape, which can cause a burn injury.
Remedy: Dealers will repair the passenger air bag module, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 17 2026. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N945.
NHTSA campaign record ↗26V248000 · Electrical System:Propulsion System:Dc/Dc Converter
Reported: 2026-04-17 (April 17, 2026)
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery, 2020-2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, 2019-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Range Rover, 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Defender, 2021-2024 Jaguar F-Pace, and 2021-2022 Jaguar E-Pace mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEVs.) The DC-DC converter can fail due to an internal fault in the boost control microchip. A failure of the DC-DC converter will result in a loss of 12-Volt system charging and can lead to complete loss of drive power and exterior lighting.
Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The remedy for this recall is currently under development. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed June 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D126 and H575.
