WHEN ENGINE COLD AND SHIFTING INTO REVERSE IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 2 SECONDS FOR CAR TO START MOVING. MY FAMILY IS PUSHING ON GAS IN THAT SMALL WINDOW. WHEN THE CAR MOVES IT IS QUICKLY ACCELERATING STARTLING THE DRIVER.

THIS VEHICLE LOSES POWER WHILE OPERATING AT ANY SPEED. WHILE GOING 70MPH OUT OF NOWHERE IT GOES DOWN TO 40 WITHIN SECONDS WITH ZERO WARNING AND 3 ACCIDENTS HAVE ALMOST HAPPENED. IT WAS "FIXED" ONCE BY A LOCAL LAND ROVER DEALER BUT HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES SINCE. THE "D" FOR THE DRIVE GEAR FLASHES RED WHEN THIS HAPPENS, IT APPEARS THE VEHICLE IS GOING INTO LYMP MODE AND IS ABSOLUTELY UNSAFE TO DRIVE.

1) Low Coolant warning started flashing. I had the coolant checked on two days by different people and it was full both times. Both times I was told its a sensor issue, the dealership service center should look into it and all components and replace as necessary. 2) Occasionally when putting the car in park it automatically shuts off and locks in gear. 3) Occasionally when yielding the car is sluggish or there is no power at all when taking off again. 1) Acceleration lags 1-2 seconds when you step on the gas pedal - have been almost hit many times when taking off at a stop light or changing lanes - very dangerous on streets, but also on the freeway. 2) Issue with electrical since the day I purchased it brand new in 2018 - auto stop-start only worked one time - dealer checked the vehicle out, declared the feature requires a fully charged battery to work but did not investigate why the battery is not fully charging; over the past 2 years I noticed the radio often continues to play even when I …

Roof panel trim blew off. This was very dangerous as I was on the highway. The panel could have hit a car behind me causing as accident. There is a technician bulletin that land rover is aware of. This is very dangerous when these panels are not secure and coming off when driving

The vehicle has a terrible delay when accelerating from a rolling stop between 8-11 mph. If you try to accelerate and the vehicle is at this speed, the delay is about 2-3 seconds before the transmission gets it into gear.

18V087000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:Fuel Injection System:Fuel Rail
Reported: 2018-02-01 (February 1, 2018)
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar, and Land Rover Discover Sport vehicles equipped with a 2.0L gasoline engine. The fuel rail end caps may leak, possibly resulting in fuel vapor or liquid fuel leaking into the engine bay.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel rail, free of charge. The recall began on March 8, 2018. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N138.
