TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2021 LANCE CAMPER 850. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 20E071000 (EQUIPMENT) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE RV WAS TAKEN TO CAMPING WORLD OF GRAND RAPIDS (201 76TH ST SW, GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49548, [phone removed]) AND IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILUR…

Domestic recalled via NHTSA the stove top for gas leak risk in November of 2020. We have requested parts and the fix via the dealer and no parts have been available. This is unacceptable.

The contact owns a 2021 Lance Travel trailer. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the trailer wiring failure message illuminated. The failure resulted in loss of braking assistance from the trailer. The contact pulled over and repaired the wiring which allowed the contact to drive the trailer back to the residence. The trailer was not taken to a local dealer. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and the contact was awaiting a response. The failure mileage was unknown.

20V619000 · Equipment:Appliance:Oven/Stove/Cooktop

Reported: 2020-10-07 (October 7, 2020)

Lance Camper Manufacturing. Corp. (Lance Camper) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Lance trailers (models 1995, 2185, 2285, 1475, 1575, 1685, 1985, 2295, 2375, 2445, and 2465) equipped with a Dometic propane gas stove, model R1731 or R2131 manufactured November 2018 or later or model S31 manufactured November 2018 or later. In certain stove serial number ranges, a gas leak may occur in the cooking stove.

Consequence: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Lance Camper will notify owners, and Dometic will repair the stoves, free of charge. The recall began December 30, 2020. Owners may contact Lance Camper customer service at 1-661-949-3322.

In certain stove serial number ranges, a gas leak may occur in the cooking stove.

Consequence: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Lance Camper will notify owners, and Dometic dealers will repair the affected stoves. The recall began on December 30, 2020. Owners may contact Lance Camper customer service at 1-661-949-3322.
