AS I WAS STEPPING OUT OF MY 2013 KZRV DURANGO 1500, THE STEP RIVET BROKE AND I FELL ONTO THE GROUND. FORTUNEATELY, I WAS NOT INJURED EXCEPT FOR SOME SCRAPES ON MY KNEES. I FOUND OUT THROUGH A FRIEND THAT A RECALL WAS ISSUED BY KZRV FOR RIVET FAILURES ON QUAD STEPS. ONE OF THE RIVETS IDENTIFIED IN THE RECALL WAS A #08 RIVET WHICH WAS THE SAME AS THE RIVET ON MY STEP EXCEPT MINE WERE A 3-STEP AND NOT THE 4-STEP AS MENTIONED IN THE RECALL.
