Reported: 2017-09-14 (September 14, 2017)
Kimble Mixer has recalled one model year 2014 Mixer Custom Chassis equipped with a Marmon-Herrington drive axle. The hex nuts were improperly torqued where the flange mounts to the yoke.
Consequence: The loose hex nuts may allow the driveshaft to disconnect from the drive axle, resulting in a loss of propulsion and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The affected vehicle for this recall has been repaired, therefore, a notification letter will not be issued. Owners may contact Kimble Mixer customer service at 1-918-286-2424. Kimble Mixer's number for this recall is 15E-065.
